Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain highly scalable and reliable software systems for Meta's products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement new features and functionalities.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and engineering standards.
- Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring high code quality and maintainability.
- Contribute to the architectural design and evolution of our systems, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across various layers of the technology stack, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to enhance user experience, reliability, and efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to inform strategic decisions and promote continuous improvement.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on large-scale systems.
- Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language (e.g., C++, Java, Python, Go).
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
- Experience with distributed systems, concurrency, and performance optimization.
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills, with a methodical approach to complex challenges.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts clearly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
