As a UX/UI Designer, you will be deeply involved in every stage of the product development lifecycle, from initial concept and research to detailed design, prototyping, and implementation. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the user experience design of new features and products from concept to launch across Facebook's platforms.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze feedback to inform design decisions and iterate on solutions.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and sitemaps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Develop high-fidelity mockups and prototypes to showcase design solutions and gather stakeholder feedback.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, researchers, and other designers to ensure a cohesive and high-quality user experience.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices throughout the product development process.
- Maintain and evolve design systems, guidelines, and libraries to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Present design concepts and rationales clearly and persuasively to internal teams and stakeholders.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design for digital products, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of work.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Demonstrated expertise in user-centered design principles, usability, and interaction design.
- Experience with qualitative and quantitative user research methods.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, iterative product development environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing for large-scale consumer applications or social platforms.
- Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to understand technical constraints.
- Experience with motion design and animation to enhance user interfaces.
- Master's degree in HCI, Design, or a related field.
