In this exciting role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of guest room reservations, from initial inquiry to final confirmation. This includes handling phone calls, emails, and online requests, providing detailed information about our hotel’s services, amenities, and local attractions. You will master our reservation systems, accurately process bookings, modifications, and cancellations, and ensure all guest preferences are meticulously recorded. Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to all reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online channels.
  • Accurately process new bookings, modifications, and cancellations using the hotel’s reservation system.
  • Provide comprehensive information about hotel facilities, services, room types, rates, and local attractions.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell hotel services and amenities.
  • Maintain accurate guest profiles and special requests to ensure personalized service.
  • Collaborate with the Front Office and Sales teams to optimize room occupancy and revenue.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve reservation issues with efficiency and a positive attitude.
  • Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards.
  • Assist with other administrative duties as required by the Reservations Manager.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in reservations or front office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (mandatory).
  • Proficiency in using hotel reservation systems (e.g., Opera PMS).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in German or French (highly advantageous).
  • Previous experience with Marriott brand standards and systems.
  • A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Experience with revenue management principles.
