Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare various products for shipment according to established procedures and customer orders.
- Inspect products for quality and damage, reporting any discrepancies or issues to supervisors immediately.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as manual pallet jacks or electric ride-on pallet jacks, safely and efficiently (training provided if needed).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering strictly to all safety protocols, company policies, and OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, lead hands, and supervisors to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Load and unload containers and trailers as required, ensuring proper handling, stacking, and securing of goods.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with stock rotation, cycle counts, and organization as instructed by inventory management.
- Adhere to strict quality control standards to minimize errors, reduce waste, and maximize overall operational efficiency.
- Be flexible to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, to support operational demands and fluctuating business needs.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects regularly (up to 50 lbs) safely and repeatedly.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading orders, counting inventory, and completing paperwork.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment and product handling.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively as part of a larger team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Punctuality and a strong attendance record are essential for team reliability.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic warehouse environment with varying temperatures and conditions.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
- Experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment is a plus.
