Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase orders and requisitions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, compare product specifications, and analyse pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors regarding order status, delivery schedules, and any discrepancies or issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Maintain and update supplier information, product catalogues, and purchasing records within the company's ERP system.
  • Support the procurement team in managing inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock availability while minimising holding costs.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., finance, operations, sales) to understand their material and service requirements.
  • Assist in evaluating supplier performance and contribute to negotiations for improved terms and conditions.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
