As a Construction Labourer, you will be an integral part of our project teams, working alongside experienced professionals on diverse construction sites. Your day-to-day will be dynamic, physically engaging, and crucial to the success of our projects. You will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of civil construction, from site preparation and material handling to assisting skilled tradespeople. Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespersons (e.g., carpenters, masons, heavy equipment operators) with their tasks.
- Perform general labour duties such as digging, trenching, shoveling, and raking.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment, and move them around the job site.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up barriers, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Clean and prepare work areas, ensuring a tidy and organized construction site.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and foremen.
- Contribute positively to a team-oriented work environment.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding tasks, often outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.

Preferred Qualifications

- Completion of construction safety training courses (e.g., WHMIS, Fall Protection, First Aid) is an asset, but not required.
