Key Responsibilities

  • Assist skilled tradespersons (e.g., carpenters, masons, heavy equipment operators) with their tasks.
  • Perform general labour duties such as digging, trenching, shoveling, and raking.
  • Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment, and move them around the job site.
  • Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up barriers, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Clean and prepare work areas, ensuring a tidy and organized construction site.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and foremen.
  • Contribute positively to a team-oriented work environment.

  • Physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding tasks, often outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
