Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including tractors, cultivators, and harvesting equipment.
- Perform duties related to crop planting, cultivation, and harvesting (e.g., seeding, spraying, irrigation, picking).
- Assist with livestock care and feeding, if applicable to the specific farm operation.
- Perform general farm maintenance, including fence repair, building upkeep, and field clearing.
- Monitor crop and soil conditions, reporting any issues or abnormalities to supervisors.
- Load and unload agricultural products and supplies.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and agricultural best practices.
- Assist with basic record-keeping related to farm activities and inventory.
- Participate in manual labor tasks such as weeding, thinning, and hand-harvesting.
- Work collaboratively with other farm staff to ensure efficient operations.
