Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver prescription medications and other healthcare products to customers' homes or designated locations within the Denver area.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and medication handling.
- Verify recipient identity and obtain signatures upon delivery as required, ensuring accurate and secure transfer of products.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and records, including mileage and delivery times, using designated tools or applications.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with customers, addressing any questions or concerns with a positive attitude.
- Manage delivery routes effectively to ensure timely completion of all scheduled deliveries.
- Handle all delivered items with care, ensuring they arrive in perfect condition.
- Report any issues, delays, or incidents to the pharmacy or designated supervisor promptly.
- Ensure your personal vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and in safe operating condition for deliveries.
Required Skills
- Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proof of current auto insurance and vehicle registration.
- Access to a reliable personal vehicle suitable for deliveries.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to navigate using GPS or mapping applications effectively.
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service and professionalism.
- Ability to lift and carry delivery bags weighing up to 20 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in delivery driving or customer service roles.
- Familiarity with the Denver metropolitan area and surrounding neighborhoods.
