Key Responsibilities
- Perform various manual labor tasks as assigned by the supervisor, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials.
- Load, unload, and move materials manually or with the aid of basic equipment such as dollies or hand trucks.
- Assist skilled trades workers (e.g., carpenters, electricians, plumbers) on job sites by preparing materials, holding tools, and providing general support.
- Clean and prepare job sites, ensuring a safe and organized working environment by clearing debris, sweeping, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently, following all operational guidelines and safety instructions.
- Follow all safety protocols, site-specific instructions, and company policies rigorously to prevent accidents and ensure a secure workplace.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the day, contributing to overall site efficiency and safety.
- Adhere to project timelines and complete tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding task progress, challenges, and safety concerns.
