Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver automotive parts to commercial customers in El Paso and surrounding areas.
- Operate a personal vehicle for all deliveries, maintaining it in good working order.
- Load and unload parts, ensuring accuracy against invoices.
- Provide exceptional customer service during every interaction, building positive relationships with clients.
- Collect payments from customers and accurately process transactions.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Assist with in-store tasks when not on deliveries, including stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and customer assistance.
- Communicate effectively with store management and commercial sales team regarding delivery status and customer feedback.
- Perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Handle parts with care to prevent damage during transit.
Required Skills
- Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Possession of a reliable, insured personal vehicle suitable for deliveries.
- Proof of automobile insurance.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 75 lbs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with the El Paso, Texas area for efficient route planning.
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts is a plus.
