As an Executive Personal Driver at Deloitte UK, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and punctual transportation of our senior executives and VIP clients across London and occasionally beyond. Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, timely, and discreet transportation for senior executives and VIP clients across London and surrounding areas.
- Plan optimal routes using real-time traffic information, considering road conditions, potential delays, and passenger preferences.
- Maintain the executive vehicle(s) to impeccable standards of cleanliness, presentation, and mechanical condition, both interior and exterior.
- Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, identifying and reporting any maintenance issues or necessary repairs promptly.
- Manage all trip logistics, including schedule coordination, parking arrangements, and professional handling of luggage and personal belongings.
- Adhere strictly to all UK traffic laws and company safety protocols, ensuring a safe and compliant driving experience.
- Ensure utmost confidentiality and discretion regarding all passenger interactions, conversations, and business-related information.
- Be flexible with working hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and occasional weekends or public holidays, as required by executive schedules.
- Assist with other ad-hoc duties as needed to support executive travel and office operations, demonstrating a proactive and helpful attitude.
- Keep accurate and detailed records of mileage, fuel consumption, and all vehicle maintenance activities for reporting purposes.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as an Executive Chauffeur or Personal Driver for senior professionals in a corporate setting.
- Immaculate driving record with no endorsements, points, or accidents in the last five years.
- Exceptional knowledge of London's intricate road network, alternative routes, traffic patterns, and navigation strategies.
- Advanced defensive driving skills and a strong, demonstrable commitment to passenger safety and comfort.
- Excellent time management, punctuality, and organizational abilities to adhere to strict schedules.
- High level of discretion, professionalism, integrity, and personal presentation.
- Strong communication skills with a courteous, polite, and helpful demeanor.
- Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and adapt quickly to changing schedules and priorities.
- Valid UK Driving Licence (clean) and the legal right to work in the UK.
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems and smartphone applications for traffic updates.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced driving certifications (e.g., RoSPA Advanced Driver, IAM RoadSmart Advanced Driver).
- Experience with luxury vehicle maintenance and care, including basic troubleshooting.
- First Aid and/or advanced security awareness certification.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle mechanics for minor on-the-spot issues.
- Previous experience working directly for a corporate executive or high-net-worth individual.
- Fluency in additional languages.
