Job Description

Nevada State Bank is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Planning Analyst to join our esteemed finance team in Las Vegas. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic planning and operational decisions.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and performance measurement.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Assist in the annual budgeting process and long-range financial planning, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Identify and analyze key financial drivers, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data, understand business operations, and challenge assumptions.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting techniques.
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications
