We are currently seeking a dedicated and vigilant Part-Time Hotel Security Officer to join our esteemed team. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the entire hotel premises, including guest floors, public areas, back-of-house, and exterior grounds, to ensure safety and security.
- Monitor CCTV systems and alarms, responding promptly and effectively to any unusual or suspicious activities.
- Act as a first responder to all security-related incidents, medical emergencies, and fire alarms, providing immediate assistance and coordinating with emergency services if necessary.
- Assist guests and employees with safety concerns, offering directions, providing escorts, and resolving minor disputes with professionalism and discretion.
- Enforce hotel policies and procedures to maintain order and ensure a secure environment for all.
- Document all incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and thoroughly in daily logs and incident reports.
- Manage access control systems, including key card management, contractor entry, and visitor registration.
- Liaise effectively with local law enforcement and emergency services when required.
- Conduct safety inspections and identify potential hazards, reporting them to the appropriate department for resolution.
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional security presence.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in security, preferably in a hospitality or public-facing environment (at least 1 year)
- Excellent observational and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with fluency in English and Czech
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure and in emergency situations
- Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency response procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and highly responsible
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed for a part-time schedule
- Physical fitness to perform patrols and stand for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel security or corporate security
- Valid security guard license or relevant certification in the Czech Republic
- Advanced first aid or CPR certification
- Knowledge of CCTV operation and surveillance techniques
- Additional language skills (e.g., German, Russian)
