Key Responsibilities
- Assist in processing weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payrolls for a diverse portfolio of clients under supervision.
- Input and verify payroll data, including new starters, leavers, timesheets, and expense claims, ensuring accuracy.
- Learn and apply relevant payroll legislation, including PAYE, National Insurance, and statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP).
- Support the resolution of payroll queries from clients and their employees, escalating complex issues as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
- Prepare and distribute payslips and other payroll-related documentation.
- Assist with pension auto-enrolment duties and compliance.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll processes and systems within the team.
- Undertake training and development opportunities to enhance payroll knowledge and skills.
