Job Description
We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeepers to join our dedicated team at Delta Hotels by Marriott Fredericton. This is an urgent hiring for individuals passionate about maintaining pristine environments and ensuring guest satisfaction. As a vital member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation across all guest rooms and public areas. Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms daily according to Delta Hotels by Marriott's established standards and procedures.
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replace used towels with fresh ones.
- Clean bathrooms, including showers, tubs, toilets, and floors.
- Dust, vacuum, and wipe down all surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and windows.
- Replenish guest room supplies such as toiletries, drinking glasses, and coffee amenities.
- Ensure all equipment is in good working order and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Handle guest requests courteously and efficiently, notifying supervisors of any special needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of linen closets and housekeeping carts.
- Adhere to all safety, security, and company policies and procedures.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects and other duties as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to clean and maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
- Good physical stamina, able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Basic communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel housekeeping or similar role.
- Familiarity with hotel cleaning products and equipment.
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
