Key Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and transform large datasets from various sources using SQL, Python, or R to support business initiatives.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators and trends.
- Perform statistical analysis and build predictive models to identify patterns, anomalies, and correlations within financial data.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical requirements and analytical solutions.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to inform strategic decision-making across departments.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting and analytical outputs, establishing best practices for data governance.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of A/B tests and other experimental designs to evaluate the effectiveness of new products and strategies.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in SQL for advanced data extraction, manipulation, and database querying.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Sense.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas for data analysis and reporting.
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated experience with a scripting language for data analysis (e.g., Python or R).
- Solid understanding of relational databases, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics).
- Prior experience working in the financial services or banking industry.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
- Knowledge of machine learning concepts and their practical application.
- Experience with advanced analytics tools and techniques.
