Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process all customer transactions, including cash, card, and mobile money payments, using our Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Greet customers warmly, provide exceptional customer service, and address basic inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organized checkout area at all times to enhance the customer experience.
- Scan merchandise accurately, ensuring correct pricing and applying any relevant discounts or promotions.
- Efficiently handle cash, reconcile the till at the beginning and end of each shift, and prepare daily cash-up reports.
- Assist customers with bagging their purchases, ensuring items are handled with care.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures regarding financial transactions, security, and customer service standards.
- Promptly report any discrepancies, technical issues, or customer complaints to the supervising staff.
- Assist with other general retail duties as needed to support store operations and team objectives.
