Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to understand their business challenges and define comprehensive technology strategies.
- Conduct detailed analysis of existing systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.
- Design and architect scalable, robust, and secure IT solutions tailored to client requirements.
- Provide expert guidance on technology selection, implementation approaches, and best practices.
- Lead and participate in technical workshops, presentations, and stakeholder meetings.
- Collaborate with development teams, project managers, and other consultants to ensure successful project delivery.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of IT projects, from conceptualisation to deployment and post-implementation support.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of BJSS's consulting methodologies and service offerings.
- Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an IT Consultant, Solutions Architect, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern architectural patterns.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Superior communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise business language.
- Experience with enterprise-level system integration and data management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications in relevant technologies or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
- Experience with diverse industry sectors (e.g., financial services, public sector, retail).
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
- Prior experience working in a consultancy environment.
