As a vital member of our warehouse and distribution operations, you will play a critical role in the efficient and safe movement of goods throughout our facility. Your primary responsibilities will include operating various types of forklifts, such as sit-down counterbalanced, stand-up reach, or other specialized equipment, to accurately load, unload, stack, move, and stage products and materials. Attention to detail is paramount to ensure proper inventory management and to uphold our rigorous standards for safety and operational quality. You will be instrumental in maintaining an organized and efficient workflow, supporting timely deliveries, and contributing to the overall success of our supply chain. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) to move, stack, load, and unload materials and products.
- Inspect forklifts and other equipment daily, reporting any defects or safety concerns immediately.
- Verify product quantities and ensure accurate documentation for incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Load and unload trailers, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement of freight.
- Organize and stack materials in designated warehouse locations, maintaining clear aisles and pathways.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as provincial regulations.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including cleaning, organizing, and inventory counts, as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Required Skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all safety protocols.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new procedures and equipment.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read labels, instructions, and complete basic paperwork.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (non-forklift related is acceptable).
