In this vital role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our store is fully stocked and organized for our customers each morning. Working during the quieter overnight hours, you will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and moving merchandise from our stockroom to the sales floor, replenishing shelves, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and process incoming merchandise efficiently and accurately during the overnight shift.
- Stock shelves, racks, and displays with products according to planograms and merchandising standards.
- Ensure all products are priced correctly and neatly arranged on the sales floor.
- Operate pallet jacks, dollies, and other equipment safely to move merchandise within the store and stockroom.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including aisles, backrooms, and receiving areas.
- Remove empty boxes and packaging materials, and assist with general store cleanliness.
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or damaged goods to management.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations and loss prevention.
- Assist with seasonal resets and store remodels as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to complete tasks and achieve store goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong physical stamina, capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and standing/walking for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in stocking and merchandising.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures in a warehouse/retail setting.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Good communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, stocking, or retail environment.
- Experience operating manual pallet jacks or other material handling equipment.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
