Job Description
Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is seeking an exceptional Concierge to join our esteemed team in Vaughan, Ontario. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive knowledge of local attractions, dining, entertainment, shopping, and cultural events.
- Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance and information to enhance their experience.
- Make and confirm reservations for dining, theatre, transportation, tours, and other services.
- Maintain strong relationships with local vendors, service providers, and cultural institutions.
- Handle all guest inquiries and requests efficiently, courteously, and with the highest level of discretion.
- Assist with special events planning and coordination for guests.
- Maintain an updated database of local information and resources.
- Process guest mail, messages, and packages.
- Ensure all guest interactions align with Four Seasons' impeccable service standards and brand image.
- Collaborate closely with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Concierge in a luxury hotel or high-end hospitality environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Extensive knowledge of Vaughan, Toronto, and surrounding areas (restaurants, attractions, services).
- Proven ability to anticipate guest needs and deliver proactive, personalized service.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are a significant asset.
- High level of discretion, professionalism, and integrity.
- Proficiency with hotel operating systems (e.g., Opera) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Membership in Les Clefs d'Or Canada.
- Fluency in French or other in-demand languages.
- Experience with international clientele.
