Key Responsibilities
- Participate in structured training programs covering core petroleum geology concepts, techniques, and software.
- Assist senior geologists in the interpretation of geological and geophysical data, including seismic and well logs.
- Contribute to the creation of geological maps, cross-sections, and subsurface models.
- Conduct field geological surveys and collect samples for analysis, as required.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and data summaries under supervision.
- Learn to utilise industry-standard geological software for data processing and visualisation.
- Support exploration and appraisal projects by compiling and organising geological information.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
- Actively engage in knowledge sharing and continuous professional development initiatives.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field.
- Strong foundational knowledge of geological principles and processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
