Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in structured training programs covering core petroleum geology concepts, techniques, and software.
  • Assist senior geologists in the interpretation of geological and geophysical data, including seismic and well logs.
  • Contribute to the creation of geological maps, cross-sections, and subsurface models.
  • Conduct field geological surveys and collect samples for analysis, as required.
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and data summaries under supervision.
  • Learn to utilise industry-standard geological software for data processing and visualisation.
  • Support exploration and appraisal projects by compiling and organising geological information.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
  • Actively engage in knowledge sharing and continuous professional development initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of geological principles and processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
