Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and other beverages to Starbucks' rigorous quality standards, ensuring consistency and excellence in every cup.
  • Engage with customers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and efficient manner, taking orders accurately and processing payments with precision.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including stocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and ensuring the café is presentable at all times.
  • Educate customers on menu items, special offerings, seasonal promotions, and coffee knowledge to enhance their experience.
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines strictly to ensure a safe environment for both customers and partners.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations and deliver consistently exceptional service during peak hours.
  • Handle cash and card transactions with accuracy and integrity, reconciling tills as required.
  • Contribute to a positive and welcoming store atmosphere for both customers and fellow partners, fostering a sense of community.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a retail, hospitality, or food service environment
  • Basic knowledge of coffee preparation methods and coffee terminology (training provided, but a plus)
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational background
  • Food Handler's Certificate (or willingness to obtain one upon hire)
