Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, including scheduling, performance management, and training.
- Oversee all daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service from front-of-house to kitchen.
- Manage inventory, control food and labor costs, and optimize profitability without compromising quality.
- Ensure strict adherence to McDonald's operational procedures, food safety standards, and health & safety regulations.
- Maintain exceptional customer service, promptly address feedback, and resolve any issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant to ensure cleanliness, organization, and equipment functionality.
- Actively participate in local marketing initiatives and community outreach programs.
- Prepare and analyze sales reports, identifying trends and implementing strategies for continuous improvement.
- Handle cash management, deposits, and ensure accurate financial record-keeping.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of progressive leadership/management experience in the food service or retail industry.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive sales.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including kitchen and front-of-house management.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to train, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Strong commitment to customer service excellence and guest satisfaction.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field.
- Experience with McDonald's operational systems and procedures (e.g., QSR experience).
- Certification in Food Safe (or equivalent) and First Aid.
- Bilingualism (English and other relevant local languages) is an asset.
