Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist lead producers and sound engineers during recording, mixing, and mastering sessions.
  • Learn to set up and tear down studio equipment, including microphones, instruments, and audio interfaces.
  • Help maintain and organize the studio space, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
  • Shadow and observe experienced engineers, actively asking questions and taking notes.
  • Contribute to pre-production tasks such as session planning and artist coordination.
  • Gain proficiency in Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) like Logic Pro, Pro Tools, or FL Studio.
  • Support post-production processes, including basic audio editing, file management, and archiving.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to studio operations as needed.
  • Actively participate in learning opportunities and feedback sessions to develop technical skills.
