Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs, policies, and procedures in accordance with federal and state regulations.
  • Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and internal audits to identify potential areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and updates, ensuring timely communication and integration into existing compliance frameworks.
  • Provide expert compliance guidance and training to various business units and associates across the organization.
  • Investigate and resolve compliance-related inquiries, issues, and complaints.
  • Prepare and submit compliance reports to senior management and regulatory bodies as required.
  • Collaborate with legal, risk management, and internal audit teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to governance.
  • Participate in the development and review of new products, services, and technologies to ensure compliance from inception.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs within the financial services industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state banking regulations (e.g., BSA/AML, Reg E, Reg Z, Dodd-Frank).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or Juris Doctor (JD).
