Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation across various practice areas.
  • Draft and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and professional correspondence.
  • Organise and maintain meticulous case files, ensuring all documentation, digital and physical, is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Assist solicitors and legal executives in preparing for hearings, trials, mediations, and client meetings.
  • Liaise professionally with clients, external counsel, court staff, and other stakeholders, managing communications effectively.
  • Manage deadlines and calendars, proactively ensuring timely completion of all legal and administrative tasks.
  • Review and summarise extensive discovery materials, medical records, financial statements, and other critical evidence.
  • Support the general administrative needs of the legal team, contributing to efficient workflow from a remote setting.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Paralegal within a UK legal setting.
  • Strong understanding of UK legal procedures, regulations, and terminology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.
  • Proficiency in legal research methodologies and experience with leading legal research tools (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw).
