Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support across all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and employee relations.
  • Manage and maintain accurate employee data within the HR Information System (HRIS), ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Assist with the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating pre-employment checks.
  • Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and other HR-related documentation with precision and timeliness.
  • Support the payroll process by verifying timesheets, processing new hires, terminations, and changes, and responding to payroll-related inquiries.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for employee queries, providing accurate and timely information on HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant Australian legislation.
  • Coordinate and support various HR projects and initiatives, such as training programs, performance reviews, and employee engagement activities.
  • Generate HR reports and analytics as required to support strategic decision-making.
  • Maintain organised and confidential HR records, both digital and physical.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an HR Coordinator or similar administrative role.
  • Solid understanding of Australian employment law and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Human Resources.
