Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and welcome patients, visitors, and colleagues, acting as the first point of contact for the hospital.
  • Efficiently manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations, using our internal systems.
  • Accurately register new patients and update existing patient records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Handle incoming phone calls, direct inquiries to the appropriate departments, and provide general information.
  • Process patient payments, manage billing inquiries, and liaise with insurance providers as required.
  • Maintain a tidy, organised, and professional reception and waiting area, ensuring a comfortable environment for all.
  • Liaise effectively with clinical staff, nurses, and doctors to ensure seamless patient flow and communication.
  • Adhere strictly to all hospital policies, procedures, and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, patient confidentiality).
  • Assist with general administrative tasks, including filing, photocopying, and managing incoming/outgoing correspondence.
