Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, using cash registers and POS systems.
  • Prepare and serve coffee, other beverages, baked goods, and fresh food items according to Tim Hortons’ recipes and quality standards.
  • Handle cash and electronic transactions, ensuring accurate reconciliation at the end of shifts.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including dining areas, service counters, and food preparation stations, adhering to strict hygiene and sanitation guidelines.
  • Replenish food supplies, condiments, and paper products as needed.
  • Ensure all food safety procedures are followed, including proper handling, storage, and rotation of food items.
  • Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints politely, and provide exceptional service to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive atmosphere.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as required.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to health, safety, and security.

Required Skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal).
  • Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
