Key Responsibilities
- Receive and stow products in designated locations using handheld scanners and other equipment.
- Pick customer orders from inventory, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Pack and label customer orders for shipment, adhering to Amazon's packaging standards.
- Load and unload trucks, moving products to and from various areas of the fulfillment center.
- Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT), such as forklifts or pallet jacks, after proper certification (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity and quality targets.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues with equipment or processes, escalating when necessary.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, reach, and lift up to 49 pounds for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Basic computer literacy to operate scanning devices and follow digital instructions.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or similar environment.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
- Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions.
