Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging online English lessons to students of varying ages and proficiency levels.
- Utilise interactive online tools and resources to create a dynamic and effective learning environment.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching methods to individual learning styles.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress.
- Communicate effectively with students and The Language Hub administration regarding scheduling and student needs.
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and inclusive atmosphere in the virtual classroom.
- Stay updated with best practices in online language teaching and integrate new techniques.
- Manage your schedule and lesson planning autonomously, ensuring punctuality and preparedness for all sessions.
Required Skills
- Native or near-native fluency in English (C2 level equivalent).
- TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification.
- Minimum 1 year (12 months) of experience teaching English as a foreign language, preferably online.
- Proficiency in using online teaching platforms and virtual classroom tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection, a quiet workspace, and a functional webcam/microphone.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Experience with diverse student populations and cultural backgrounds.
- Familiarity with various online learning management systems (LMS).
- Prior experience living or working abroad.
