Job Description
WSP in Canada is seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join our thriving team in Calgary, Alberta. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of complex projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
- Manage project teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact and ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Oversee the financial performance of projects, including accurate forecasting, timely invoicing, and stringent cost control.
- Conduct comprehensive risk management, identifying potential issues and developing proactive mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present compelling project reports, proposals, and presentations to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and WSP's internal policies and best practices.
- Facilitate effective communication among project team members, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure alignment.
- Contribute to business development activities, including strategic proposal preparation and active client engagement.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for project delivery processes and methodologies.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in project management, specifically within engineering consulting, infrastructure, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, Agile).
- Excellent leadership, communication (verbal and written), and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and human resources effectively.
- Proficiency with industry-standard project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
- Exceptional problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Eligibility for TN Visa status (e.g., Canadian or US citizen with relevant qualifications).
Preferred Qualifications
