Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and meticulously execute overarching digital strategies to elevate artist releases, deepen fan engagement, and significantly grow digital revenue across diverse platforms.
  • Oversee the end-to-end planning, implementation, and continuous optimization of digital marketing campaigns, encompassing social media, email marketing, search engine marketing (SEM), and display advertising.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, consumer insights, and performance analytics to identify emerging opportunities for growth and to inform future strategic digital ventures.
  • Foster strong collaboration with internal stakeholders (A&R, Marketing, Sales) and external partners (digital service providers, agencies) to ensure a cohesive, impactful, and consistent digital presence for all artists.
  • Manage and strategically optimize artist digital assets, including official websites, social media profiles, and streaming platform pages, guaranteeing consistent brand messaging and maximum audience reach.
  • Proactively evaluate new digital technologies, platforms, and potential partnership opportunities to expand Sony Music Canada’s digital footprint and innovate fan experiences.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports on digital campaign performance, key metrics, and actionable strategic recommendations to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of digital specialists, cultivating a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and professional growth.
  • Ensure strict adherence of all digital activities to industry standards, data privacy regulations (e.g., CASL, GDPR principles), and company best practices and guidelines.

Required Skills
