Key Responsibilities
- Identify, cultivate, and maintain strong relationships with key music supervisors, directors, producers, editors, and advertising agency creatives.
- Proactively pitch Warner Chappell Music's vast catalog of songs for placement in film, television, advertising campaigns, video games, and other multimedia projects.
- Negotiate and finalize sync license agreements, ensuring favorable terms for both the company and our songwriters.
- Collaborate closely with internal creative, legal, and administration teams to clear rights and manage licensing requests efficiently.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging talent, and evolving media landscapes to identify new opportunities for music placement.
- Manage a pipeline of active projects, ensuring timely follow-up and execution.
- Represent Warner Chappell Music at industry events, conferences, and showcases to foster networking and business development.
- Contribute to team strategy discussions and help develop innovative approaches to sync licensing.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in sync licensing, music supervision, or a related field within the music or entertainment industry.
- Extensive knowledge of music copyright, licensing, and publishing principles.
- Proven track record of successful music placements across various media (film, TV, advertising, games).
- Strong existing network of contacts within the music supervision and media production communities.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in music databases and CRM software.
Preferred Qualifications
