Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights into user behavior and needs.
- Support the creation of user flows, wireframes, and prototypes for various digital products and platforms.
- Collaborate with senior designers and development teams to translate user experience requirements into compelling user interfaces.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across products.
- Participate in design critiques and incorporate feedback into design iterations.
- Help conduct competitive analysis and research industry best practices to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and present design concepts to internal stakeholders.
- Stay updated on the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies.
- Document design specifications and guidelines for development teams.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
- Ability to create basic wireframes and low-fidelity prototypes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions.
- A foundational understanding of user-centered design processes.
- Basic knowledge of accessibility standards in digital design.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and design challenges.
- Problem-solving aptitude with a keen eye for detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- A portfolio showcasing personal projects, academic work, or relevant design exercises.
- Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Web Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Experience with motion design or animation tools.
- Exposure to front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
