Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive social media strategies aligned with artist and label marketing objectives.
  • Create, curate, and schedule engaging content (text, image, video) for various social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, community feedback, and competitor activity, providing actionable insights.
  • Engage with online communities, respond to comments and messages, and foster positive fan interactions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, A&R, creative, publicity) to ensure cohesive messaging and campaign execution.
  • Analyze social media performance using analytics tools, generate reports, and present findings to optimize future strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, platform changes, and digital marketing trends.
  • Manage social media budgets and allocate resources effectively for paid social campaigns.
  • Identify and engage with relevant influencers and content creators to amplify artist reach.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions for new artist releases and marketing initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience managing social media for a brand or artist, preferably in the entertainment or music industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms and their respective best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to craft compelling narratives.
  • Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, platform native insights).
  • Strong understanding of current digital marketing trends and strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail.
