Job Description

Bright Side Dental is urgently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dynamic team in Detroit, Michigan. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
  • Administer local anesthesia and perform various general dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges, and dentures.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive dental care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and front office staff to ensure efficient patient flow and exceptional patient experience.
  • Stay current with advancements in dental technology and treatment methods through continuing education.
  • Adhere strictly to all OSHA, HIPAA, and dental board regulations and standards.
  • Participate in case reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Provide emergency dental care as needed.

Required Skills

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
  • Valid state dental license in Michigan (or eligibility to obtain one prior to employment).
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong clinical proficiency in general dentistry.
  • Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a private practice setting.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
