Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to understand business challenges, gather requirements, and define scope for technology solutions.
- Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance IT solutions that align with client objectives and industry best practices.
- Lead and mentor project teams through the full software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment.
- Conduct technical assessments, feasibility studies, and provide expert recommendations on technology choices.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful and timely project delivery.
- Facilitate workshops, presentations, and technical discussions with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continually enhance our service offerings.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of BJSS's consulting methodologies and knowledge base.
- Support pre-sales activities, including proposal writing and client presentations, as needed.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in an IT consulting, solution architecture, or senior software engineering role.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native application development.
- Solid knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and data integration patterns.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated experience in client-facing roles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, TOGAF).
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in specific domains such as financial services, public sector, or healthcare.
- Prior experience working in a consultancy environment.
