Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and accurately store incoming materials and products in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring items are correctly identified, counted, and packaged according to company and client standards.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, in a safe and responsible manner (comprehensive training will be provided if necessary).
- Conduct regular inventory checks, assist with stock counts, and report any discrepancies or damages promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in compliance with all local safety regulations and company policies.
- Adhere to all quality control standards and procedures to ensure the integrity and quality of products throughout the supply chain.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational targets, deadlines, and customer service expectations.
- Assist with loading outgoing shipments onto trucks and other transport vehicles, verifying order completeness.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or management to support overall warehouse operations.
Required Skills
- Minimum SPM/STPM qualification or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English and/or Bahasa Malaysia.
- Basic numeracy skills for accurate counting and inventory management.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 20kg) repeatedly and safely.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, team-oriented, and fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (6-12 months) in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment is a significant advantage.
- Valid forklift operating license or experience operating other warehouse equipment is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or inventory tracking software is a plus.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, variable workloads, and different work schedules.
- A proactive attitude and a strong willingness to learn new skills and embrace continuous improvement.
