Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Human Resources team as an Entry Level HR Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional eager to kickstart their career in human resources within a well-established and reputable company. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the HR department, contributing to various aspects of the employee lifecycle from recruitment to administration. You will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, working closely with experienced HR professionals to ensure smooth HR processes and a positive employee experience. Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department, including data entry, filing, and managing HR correspondence.
- Assist with recruitment activities, such as posting job advertisements, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with candidates.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support the on-boarding and off-boarding processes for employees, including preparing necessary documentation and conducting new hire orientations.
- Assist in the coordination of training and development programs, including logistics, materials preparation, and attendance tracking.
- Respond to routine HR inquiries from employees regarding policies, benefits, and procedures, escalating complex issues as appropriate.
- Prepare various HR-related reports and presentations as required, utilizing Microsoft Office Suite tools.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and events, contributing to a positive workplace culture.
- Perform other ad-hoc HR projects and duties as assigned by the HR Manager or Senior HR team members.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Cantonese.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and a strong team player.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Problem-solving aptitude and a willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Prior internship or part-time work experience in an HR or administrative capacity.
- Familiarity with HR information systems (HRIS) is a plus.
