Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and check incoming shipments for accuracy against invoices and packing lists.
- Store materials in designated warehouse locations using appropriate material handling equipment.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to customer specifications.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling, weighing, and staging.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely and proficiently (certification a plus).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks and containers.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and resolve operational issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall warehouse operations and contribute to team success.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role (minimum 6 months).
- Ability to operate heavy machinery (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) or willingness to be trained.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and inventory management.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25 kg) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Proficiency in Swedish or English (or both) to effectively communicate within the team and follow instructions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (truckkort) in Sweden (A and B levels preferred).
- Previous experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as SAP or similar.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
- High school diploma or equivalent secondary education.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings or weekends if required by operational needs.
