Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards and planograms across multiple Jumbo store locations.
- Set up, refresh, and dismantle promotional displays, ensuring they are eye-catching, well-stocked, and compliant with brand guidelines.
- Monitor product availability, stock levels, and expiration dates, ensuring shelves are always fully stocked and presentable.
- Optimize product placement and shelving to enhance customer navigation and sales performance.
- Conduct regular store visits, assessing merchandising execution and providing feedback to store management.
- Collaborate with store teams to ensure a consistent and high-quality shopping experience.
- Report on merchandising activities, challenges, and successes using designated tools and platforms.
- Adapt to flexible working hours, including early mornings, evenings, or occasional weekends, to meet merchandising deadlines and store needs.
- Ensure all displays are safe, clean, and meet company standards.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in retail, merchandising, or visual display (1+ year).
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent visual awareness and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret planograms and merchandising guidelines.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods, and handle retail products.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel between store locations.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English (verbal and written).
Preferred Qualifications
- MBO (Intermediate Vocational Education) or HBO (Higher Professional Education) diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Retail Management, Visual Merchandising).
- Experience with merchandising software or reporting tools.
- Knowledge of local market trends and consumer behavior in the retail sector.
- Previous experience working in a supermarket or grocery environment.
