Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and balance sheets.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Prepare and process payroll for a designated portfolio, ensuring compliance with local regulations and timely disbursement.
  • Generate comprehensive financial statements and reports, such as profit and loss statements and cash flow reports.
  • Assist in the preparation for year-end audits and tax filings by providing necessary documentation and support.
  • Monitor and analyze expenses, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, company policies, and accounting standards (MFRS/IFRS).
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams regarding financial queries and updates.
  • Utilize accounting software efficiently to streamline bookkeeping processes and maintain digital records.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role (minimum 3 years).
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, SAP, Sage, or similar platforms.
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles (MFRS/IFRS).
  • Excellent data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
