Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome and seat guests, managing reservations and walk-ins efficiently.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and offer recommendations with enthusiasm, particularly regarding our unique vegetarian and vegan offerings.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using our POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously, ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash and credit card transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Server, Waiter, or Waitress in a fast-paced restaurant environment (minimum 6 months).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a team-oriented setting.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
- Proficiency in German and English, both spoken and understood.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with vegetarian or vegan cuisine is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems (e.g., Micros, Aloha).
- Additional language skills (e.g., French, Italian).
