As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts (e.g., counterbalance, reach trucks, order pickers) to load, unload, stack, and move materials within our state-of-the-art facilities. Your keen attention to detail will ensure that all incoming and outgoing inventory is handled with care, accurately recorded, and stored in designated locations, adhering strictly to safety protocols and company guidelines. This includes performing pre-operational safety checks on equipment, reporting any malfunctions or damages, and participating in regular safety briefings. You will work closely with warehouse staff to fulfill orders, prepare shipments, and manage stock rotation, contributing directly to our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Operate various types of forklifts (e.g., counterbalance, reach truck, order picker) safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, stack, and retrieve materials and products from storage areas, ensuring proper handling.
- Perform daily pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any maintenance issues or defects.
- Transport goods to and from various sections of the warehouse or loading docks.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement using manual or electronic scanning systems.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and traffic regulations within the warehouse.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet operational targets.
- Properly secure loads to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
Required Skills
- Valid forklift operator license/certification in Kuwait or internationally recognized equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of proven experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and regulations.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials and inventory.
- Basic communication skills in English (reading safety signs, understanding instructions).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or inventory tracking software.
- Familiarity with scanning equipment and basic data entry.
- Ability to communicate in Arabic is a plus.
- Experience in a large-scale logistics or supply chain environment.
- A clean driving record.
